Personalizing sfCRMThis demo shows you how to personalize some aspects of sfCRM, such as setting up your contact information, mail services, date format, and the like.
The Profile menu
Move the mouse to the
My sfCRM menu tab. When the menu appears, click the
Profile option.
The profile screen
The
My profile screen appears. This screen displays your personal information and
preferences, and lets you customize it. The information on this screen is viewable (but not
modifiable) by other users of the system.
The "User information" section
This section displays your login name, preferred date format and mail server. You would click
the edit button at the top of this section to edit this information.
The "Preferences" section
You can use the dropdowns in this section to set the color theme you want, the page size you
want (i.e., the number of records shown in the main list of each summary list screen) and the
number of columns in the detail section of each summary screen.
Begin editing user information
Click the Edit button in the "User information" section.
The profile edit screen
The "Edit my profile" screen appears. Here, you can modify your password, set up your mail
service, and update your preferred date format and time zone.
Choose time format
Open the "Date format" dropdown and choose your preferred format.
Save preferences
Click the "Save" button to save your changes.
Return to the profile screen
After your changes have been saved, you are returned to the "My profile" screen. This time,
click the edit button next to "Contact information" to update your personal contact information.

The contact information screen appears. Here, you can update your personal profile.

Make any changes necessary, and click the "Save" button.

The profile information is updated, and you are back at the "My profile" screen.
